DESCRIPTION:October is CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION MONTH. You can help raise awareness of this issue by wearing purple clothesor a purple ribbon on October 17th. \nEach year\, Children’s Aid in Ontario responds to more than 155\, 000 calls from concerned members of the community about the possible abuse and neglect of children and youth. It relies on members of the community to be the voice for kids who are unable to speak up. The Durham Children’s Aid Society has provided Frontenac Youth Services with purple ribbons. \nRibbons will be available at the main office and at both residential programs by Friday October 10th. \n  \nWendy Rechanicz\, Program Manager
